Kudos for Coming Attractions

Folks often forget to say “thank you” to someone who does them a favor. Let’s take a moment to do just that.

Bill Thom, proprietor of the Coming Attractions Web site, deserves thanks from all pulp fans. If you don’t check out Coming Attractions each weekend, you’re missing out on the latest news concerning pulp-related publications.

No doubt Bill spends countless hours each week gathering tidbits for the weekly report. And it’s a chore that Bill’s been doing for years. (If you’ve tried to produce something on a regular basis for year after year after year, you’ll appreciate Bill even more.)

Before Coming Attractions hit the Web in summer 2002, it was a feature in Tom and Ginger Johnson’s fanzine Echoes for many years. It started as “Comics Commentary” before morphing into Coming Attractions, the title it appeared under through the fanzine’s transition to a monthly PDF newsletter.

Thanks, Bill, for your hard work! We certainly appreciate it.

– William
