Art Sippo kicked off his “Art’s Reviews” podcast last Friday with a bang-up opening episode.

Art talked with writer and pulp historian Will Murray and artist Joe DeVito about their upcoming Wild Adventures of Doc Savage books, Tarzan and King Kong novels, and a novel teaming Doc Savage and The Shadow.

It clocks in at just under an hour and 15 minutes, but it’s well worth a listen. (I’ve embedded it below.)

In the second episode, which was published Wednesday, Art interviews writer Jeff Deisher about his new novel, “Chinese Puzzle,” featuring a James Bond-like spy.

Art was a co-host on Ric Croxton‘s “The Book Cave” podcast, which ended after 300 episodes a couple of weeks ago. He also runs the Speculations in Bronze blog (though it hasn’t been updated in a number of years) and is writing New Pulp novels featuring the German Doc Savage analog Sun Koh.

Also, Art will be featured in an upcoming installment of “3 pulp questions.” So keep an eye out for that!
